LUCY HALL - soprano

Lucy is currently a scholar on the Opera course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD). In 2010 she graduated with a first-class honours degree from the GSMD and was awarded the Dove Memorial Prize for being the highest marked graduate across any discipline. She also received the Ann Wyburd Prize for the best lieder performance. Future plans include the role of Sandrina (La finta giardiniera) for the Festival d'Aix and performing the role on tour in 2013 in Luxembourg and Toulon, a recording of Mozart's Requiem, and a tour of Israel performing Michal in Handel's Saul. Gavin is a pianist and organist based in Central London. He is a staff pianist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Artistic Director of the concert series Song in the City, and Assistant Director of Music at St. Marylebone Parish Church. He read music at Gonville and Caius College Cambridge and held the organ scholarship there. As accompanist he has partnered singers at the Wigmore Hall, the Barbican Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. He has appeared regularly on BBC Radio broadcasts as soloist and accompanist, and played on numerous recordings for the BBC, ASV, Guild and Priory Records.
